Ek Tha Tiger (Hindi: एक था टायगर) is an upcoming Hindi language romantic thriller. The film will be produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Kabir Khan. This will be his third collaboration with the banner after Kabul Express (2006) and New York (2009). Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were confirmed to play the lead roles at a press conference held on May 3, 2011 at Yashraj Studios. It is scheduled to release on 1 June, 2012.

Salman Khan (born Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan on 27 December 1965) is an Indian film actor. He has starred in more than 80 Hindi films.
Khan, who made his acting debut with a minor role in the drama Biwi Ho To Aisi (1988), had his first commercial success with the blockbuster Maine Pyar Kiya (1989), for which he won a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He went on to star in some of Hindi cinema's most successful films of those times, such as Saajan (1991), Hum Aapke Hain Kaun (1994), Karan Arjun (1995), Judwaa (1997), Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya (1998) and Biwi No.1 (1999), having appeared in the highest earning films of seven separate years during his career.
In 1999, Khan won a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for his extended appearance in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), and since then has starred in several critical and commercial successes, including Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999), Tere Naam (2003), Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), No Entry (2005), Partner (2007), Wanted (2009) and Dabangg (2010), which has become the second highest-grossing Bollywood film of all-time, and Ready (2011). Khan has thus established himself as one of the leading and most successful actors of Hindi cinema.
This will be Salman Khan 's first venture with Yashraj Films, whereas his father, Salim Khan, has written Trishul (1978), Kaala Patthar (1979) and Deewar (1975 film) earlier for the banner.
Also, director Kabir Khan teams up with Katrina Kaif, Pritam Chakraborty and Aseem Mishra again after the successful New York (2009 film).
Katrina Kaif:
Katrina Kaif (born 16 July 1984) is a British Indian actress and former model who appears in Indian films, mainly in the Hindi-language film industry. She has also appeared in Telugu and Malayalam films. She was voted the sexiest Asian woman in the world by Eastern Eye in the years 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. Being a British citizen, she works in India on an employment visa.
Kaif made her acting debut with Kaizad Gustad's box office failure Boom. She tasted success in 2007 with Vipul Shah's Namastey London and Anees Bazmee's Welcome. She has since appeared in films like New York (2009) and Rajneeti (2010). While the former earned Kaif her first Filmfare Award for Best Actress nomination, the latter emerged as her biggest commercial success so far.
It should be noted that due to her poor knowledge of Hindi (and other Indian languages), Kaif's voice was often dubbed by another actress. However, with the exception of De Dana Dan she has used her own voice for all of her films since New York. Earlier, she had dubbed for films like Namastey London and Apne.

Kabir Khan
Kabir Khan is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and camera operator of documentary and Bollywood films.
A graduate of Kirori Mal College, Delhi University, Khan started his career as a cinematographer for the documentary film, Beyond the Himalayas (1995) which was directed by Gautam Ghosh and later aired on Discovery Channel. As a director he made his debut with the documentary, The Forgotten Army (1999) based on Subhas Chandra Bose's Indian National Army. These films were followed by The Taliban Years and Beyond, and The Titanic Sinks in Kabul' (2001). Khan later made two Bollywood films, Kabul Express in 2006 and New York in 2009.
He is married to TV anchor Mini Mathur. They have a son, Vivaan and a daughter, Sairah.
Aditya Chopra
Aditya Chopra (born 21 May 1971) is an Indian film producer, screenwriter and director. He is most known for directing his only three films Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Mohabbatein (2000), and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008). And producing Dhoom (2004), Veer-Zaara (2004), Bunty Aur Babli (2005), Fanaa (2006), Dhoom 2 (2006), and Chak De! India (2007).
Aditya married his high school girlfriend, Payal Khanna, at the age of 30, in a private ceremony attended by a few of the couple's close friends. Payal studied with Aditya in Bombay Scottish School and completed a course in interior designing in London. Payal later went on to design the Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai and co-produce some films for the banner. The couple filed for divorce on 20 April 2009.
Aditya Chopra took over as the Vice Chairman of Yash Raj Films in 2007, soon after the release of the film Aaja Nachle under the same banner. Aditya went on to make his third film as a director in the year 2008 with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi starring Shahrukh Khan and launching newcomer Anushka Sharma. The film broke all box office records and is the highest grossing film for Shahrukh Khan and Yash Raj Films.
